Uhhhh.. let's see. The AMERICAN PEOPLE put an end to the war in Vietnam by pressuring our government. That is how things work here. Korea? Never ended, and was a UN action. Iraqi people were never our enemy. Just their one mad man leader.

And the Cubans? Ask ElCubano about that one. Not me. But from what I can see, it is the expatriot Cubans that most vehemently oppose Castro. How we got involved in a civil war is pretty much beyond me. But when they permitted (asked for) Soviet nuclear weapons to be placed on their soil and aimed at the US, then yeah, there was a reason to place an embargo on them. And a blockade at the time.

Imagine how that would have played out if Kennedy was more like Saddam. Or Arafat. (or even Bush). Maybe Thunderbolt is right. Maybe there is a god. Because somehow we survived that crisis. I was young, but old enough to remember. We all expected to die.

You are right....very off track. Seems to happen all the time in "chit chat" ...I made a joke of something FPC said about a porn movie with Anna Nicole Whatever, and it evolved into a few hundred pages of Tbolt and religion.

Hate sucks. War sucks.

Solutions? Easy....tolerance. How do we achieve tolerance? Only two ways I can think of. Education and discussion. So here we have discussion. Also, this was a pretty obvious tangent for this thread to take the moment TF got into it. He is an Arab living in France. There was no more hope of this NOT coming here than there was of a point made by FPC about "evolution" going where it did once Thunderbolt got involved. Some things are just too predictable.

Besides, with the Dow down slightly and the Nasdaq up slightly, this is more productive than trading now. At least cheaper:)

Hey, Op777, there should be a visual aid for the ills of this thread. I KNOW you will think of something:) As consistent as Traderfut and Thunderbolt are, you are equally as reliable (but in a better way....you provide humor and perspective...so get on it!)

Rs7, I have nothing against jews and Israelis. I am just for justice and peace. Saying that Arafat that Arafat this is like forgetting the most important part of the equation.

Who is occupying palestine who is ruling all the palestinian economy, who is arming the colon. If one is honest he will quickly understand that peace is certainly not in the hands of palestinians but in the hands of the leading power Israel. It has everything. Palestine does not exist it is a fictious state.


Optional, yes you are right. The French wel the same as the americans they don't all suck. some are good some are real assholes. generalising once again is dangerous. You cannot say hey come the french sucks and there are plenty arabs in France.

Even during the NAzi regim many german were killed beacuse they opposed the regim. So it is for me key to stop generalising. and That is why I said the USA has to look back it's history is far from being perfect and accusing others is easy the most difficult is to criticize oneself.
 
Come one man this is not a propaganda. This has been written by Israelis soldiers themselves. Yes even Israelis do not accpet what is done in tehir name and they have the courage to say it...

By the way Are you Jew. Because for me Israel is not the US. so I don't understand how you could consider this as an anti american propaganda since it was written by ISraelis???
