When I was growing up and went to a public school in Long Island may of our administrators and teachers were former U.S. marines. If any student behaved like this in school, some male staff member would show up and just pop them... and the kid would never cause any further trouble. Especially after a note was sent home, and the child received a well-deserved beating from his/her father.

And every single parent in the neighborhood would support the actions of the school staff. This was in an era where corporal punishment was still common in public schools... but it was also an era where our high school has a riflery team.

Sadly times have changed.... and not for the better.

And this is why so many blacks end up dependent on welfare, etc. They go to school for what reason? Many don't go to learn. I've seen these kind of altercations in 5th grade classrooms .. students fighting students .. and teachers are in a tough spot. If they intervene and put their hands on a kid they may end up with parents making some unfounded accusation.
