Dont Defund Them...But Drain and Reform the Police

Well school shootings happen at schools, church shootings at church. Those shooters don't walk with their weapons on the street. The cops are not dumb. They do learn a thing or two about criminal history and statistics. Who uses guns and other weapons on the street? The track record speaks very clearly about this.

How many school or church shootings occur per year on average and how many people die from it per year on average? How many street shootings and how many dead? I bet the difference is hundreds fold.

Thank you for showing your racist bias.... the white guy with the gun gets the free pass from the cop while the black guy should be thrown down and handcuffed. Well my perception is on average white guys commit way more school, church and movie shootings so they are risky and should be interrogated and beaten down until determined to be sage.

Anyone walking down the street with an AR15 should be thrown to the ground and have his background checked while handcuffed.... you know for protection and prevention. Better way to catch all the w hite guys who are shooting up schools and movie theaters and churches. Every single white guy with a gun should be perceived as a threat according to your logic since they historically on average do mass shootings.

You keep lowering the bar on how stupid your comments are....

Simple explanation:

White guy with AR15 on the street: harmless 2nd amendment advocate

Black guy with AR15 on the street: gangbanger who on average killed already 2 or 3 people and with a long rap sheet.

On average I might note. Averages matter here because they shape perception, they inform risk, protection and prevention.

There is a considerable difference in how each of those individuals is carrying their weapon. The white man is doing so with it slung over his back in a manner that prevents him accessing the weapon without an overtly threatening gesture. The police take note of this and approach accordingly. They know they can engage before he can engage.

The black man has the weapon at the ready, and only needs to lower his hand to raise the weapon to firing position. The police note this and respond accordingly. They are unsure that they can engage before he does, and must take appropriate defensive action prior to engaging the individual.

This is obvious to anyone who understands police training, firearm usage and is not trying to push a bullshit narrative.

"you" definitely do not support the good cops. Your left extremist colleagues just outed themselves by calling ALL cops thugs. So please speak for yourself but all your other brethren outed themselves as GENERAL cop haters.

we support all the good cops.... you support all of them regardless of whether they are good or bad and you want them to have unlimimted power to violate constitutional rights....

that is the difference.

I did not pay attention to the different way both carried their weapon. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't know until I go back and check how the white guy carried his in this particular video.

But I know that if skin color and race in this video played any role then its that whites who carry alongside streets carry for very different reasons than blacks.

I don't know your background, so please forgive me for saying this in a certain way.

But I wouldn't expect you to pay attention to the way they carry the weapon unless you've had formal training in law enforcement tactics and control. This is something any cop would immediately zero in on, and this is almost assuredly what happened in this encounter. Furthermore, it would not surprise me if the people filming the video INTENDED for this to happen this way and carried the weapons differently because they KNEW cops would react differently and anyone watching would most likely NOT notice it. This is assuming the whole thing wasn't staged in the first place.

Tony posted it, but Tony knows fuck-all about weapons and police tactics outside of posting a narrative.

The first person had a gun slung across his back and a camera very OBVIOUSLY out in front. The second had a weapon at ready arms and carrying a coke in his other hand. The cops arriving on scene see the gun across the back, see the camera filming and go "potential threat, obvious political statement - trying to record us". The cops arriving on the second man arriving go "GUN!"

Thanks for sharing this insight. Informative, apparently factual, and to the point.

Problem is that its all just narratives for those guys. They want to distract from facts and questions that are of much higher priority to find answers to. Have you recently found a youtube where an Asian American got in trouble with cops during a traffic stop? A hispanic? Never say never but those who generally stir up a huge drama are oftentimes blacks or otherwise a certain subgroup of whites, either amendment hacks or otherwise left extremists in their holier than water support for BLM. When someone behaves very suspiciously in front of cops that's when things can understandably get out of hand quick. I bet most open carry folks know exactly the protocol and procedures how to conduct themselves in front of cops. For their own life's safety.

Police if they were smart, will wait in their police cars, take cover and wait till the shootings are all over. BLM/Antifa thugs will do the job of administering justice by killing each other. No waste of US tax dollars to try them, convict them, jail them for life and never executing them for the murders they commit. Look at Chicago. Do you see the cops there rushing in to arrest the bad guys? They write their reports after the shootings are over.
