Didn't get much done today..

On OO, got:

CE -.04

and that was that.... I saw sellers come in the book right away, so I knew it was going nowhere. Took myself out immediately.

Good thing too.

Look what happened. Newbies take note. Don't hesitate. If the signs say get out, then do it.

Raven would possibly gotten me out without TOO much damage, but certainly not -.04.

And on another front. Got off one trade.

CA short for +.07. It actually came up on a long side scan, but started looking so weak that it turned into a piddling short.

And off to build my rocket ship. Working on a little motor to move a satellite from the space shuttle orbit to a higher orbit.

Rocket science is not really that complicated...

Starting out slow this week. 11 fills, 7 winners, 4 losers. A small profit but a profit is a profit. Good luck to the bootcampers with their 2000 share orders.

I just did the "halfway" through bootcamp evaluations. 100% are ahead (net) from the opening's....One guy (with the least experience) is ahead over 5.00 in 3 weeks, that would equate to $10,000 if he were trading 2,000 shares already. But I like them to show consistency first, volume later....he's up a 1000 shares now.

I thought you didn't trade news stocks. CE was all over the news this morning regarding the merger deal with FDC.

When you get a fill in CE, do you watch the tape in FDC? You know CE is being acquired by FDC in an all stock deal right?

I had the stock on my list for quite a while too, just know that you have to trade off FDC somewhat also.

I totally missed the news in CE.

Briefing.com doesn't have any mention of CE and FDCmerging .. AT ALL.

Briefing is generally what I am looking at.

If it is not there, I won't see it.

Oh well, what do you expect for $9.95/mo...

I think they are doing a little too much of busting your chops. I checked a couple of different sources about CE news. It was not ALL over the news. I dont have CE in my list. Too small a stock IMHO.

Another day like yesterday for me, 11 fills, 6 winners, 3 losers, 1 break even. Small gain, kept my stops too tight.

Today was ever so blah. Have a real sore throat so I didn't get up in time for opening orders.

Did make a couple of trades after the open..

WM short for +.06

Damn market went into several minutes of consolidation, so WM didn't move much.

FDC short for +.07

Market chose that particular moment to make a full market range green candle. I woulda had a fine trade if the market had even nodded down for a bit... oh well..

BMY long -.02

NOW the market decide it has had enough of this up stuff. Was in a nice uptrend and had a pullback. BMY looked pretty decent to the long side. But the gremlin in my machine let the market know my position and EVERYBODY, including Don, sold em off.



NOW STOP THAT...
