I think Don did jinx the bootcampers based on todays openings, LOL. Will be interesting to see how everyone did today.

UGLY!!!!!!!!!! BVF-AGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH EK-AGGGGGHHHHHHH CLS-AGGGGGHHHHHHHHH MWD-AGGGGGHHHHHHH

A weeks worth of gains wiped out.....Oh well, that is the way the cookie crumbles sometime.:(

do yourself a favor and take EK out of your lineup

August was my first losing month ever for openings and September is looking like a repeat performance. I've cut my share size back and am going to keep grinding it out, hopefully it's just a phase.

Been doing OO for four years and September is set to be my first losing month ever, unless i get a really good opening tomorrow. But august was actually quite good.

Geeez Oddmund,

If you're not funnin' us -
that's quite an accomplishment!

Congratulations!

So far, this month as been difficult with OO's and it looks like it is going to be my first losing month this year. I have also cut back my size by 1/2, and will try and grind it out.

Unfortunately I have been having data issues with ECHO and I have been hit hard each morning that I have been unable to trade. (2 times this month and 1x so far just unable to send orders because of server issues prior to opening bell.)

I am factoring these losing days in with my monthly stats in OOs.

Happy OO's hunting,
Patrick

I now feel very lucky to be basically break even for September. How tomorrow goes so will september for me. I had a good first week for september so the losses have been adding up for a few weeks, so it does not look good for October at this rate.

I have not decreased my share size yet but have been considering it for a few weeks. In the past i have been pretty quick to reduced share size.

It can be so difficult to exit a full position with a profit, get a fill for 100 shares then the bid/offer moves against me, move my limit order to market get a fill for 200 more shares and the bid/offer moves against.

Today i placed a buy to cover my MWD short, while it was a profit, at 2 cents above than the current ask, was filled for 100 or 200 shares and i am the new bid, move to buy at new ask, no fill. For the second fill in a row i can't exit MWD until its a pretty big loser.

After someone posted that EK was sucking and off their list, today as part of my contrarian open view where its just you and the specialist, (but use a smart price), placed an open order on EK, and missed a fill, of course it would have been a solid winner.

Good luck everyone
