Oh boy...

Just another day at the office. Echo had quote problems at the open ..... AGAIN....

I knew I had troubles when I was getting fills on stocks that weren't showing to be open yet... :eek:

Thankfully, the P/L window that shows my fills still shows the fill, but the unrealized P/L is all fouled up. Was showing huge profits, but, alas, I knew they were bogus.

So, I just hit a cancel all, and manually exited the open positions.

Still made a dab of green.. +$120 net.

MO +$.40, thank you very much, manual exit was just right.

SBC +$.06, coulda had much more.

XTO +$.30, would have gotten the same with Raven.

I have the ability to go back and check on all fills I would have had. It will be interesting to see if I was screwed or saved today.

Yesterday I was screwed. :(

Onward and downward, we will see what tomorrow brings.
 
Anybody get MO on REDI today? This is a new one for me, I got filled on MO before the market opened (at 9:29:52 according to REDI) and then in the REDI montage it showed the opening price to be 39.50, whereas in my message window it said I was filled at 39.40. I am thinking maybe the clock is off. I am not complaining as MO worked out really nice today.

Exactly the same happened to me. I also trade via Redi+. Maybe their internal clock was not properly set. I think the new version says somehting about a new procedure to sync the time between redi and your computer.
 
Yeah, wierd. I was long MO at .40 before the market was open. Pretty easy money there today.

that is weird. i looked at T+S and all i can see are prints at 9:30:11 39.40 100 CSE
9:30:11 39.40 200 CSE
9:30:12 39.40 500 CSE

Well, everything worked today.

Raven stopped me out when it should have, I sat on my hands and let Raven do it's thing, as I should have.

Kind of a blah opening though, didn't get a whole lot, but no big losers.

LLL +.60 my big winner, I was thinking of manually exiting when Raven did it for me. It went on to bigger and better things, but neither Raven nor I can read the future.

WYE +.45 Another decent winner

All 100 share sizes except NEM. I had adjusted my share sizes differently, will evaluate.

We'll do it again tomorrow.

Nice to see you posting again.

I am curious how you made money on WYE. I have its opening print at 46.99 (down $1.24 so no short) and it went way down from there.

How did you get a profit on that one, long or short or did you not an open only order. Maybe my data feeds screwed it up.
 
Wyeth opened at 46.15. I also got stopped out on it at the same price as Tony on that downtick. Wish I had stayed in it longer.......Not a good % day, 3 winners, 3 losers and 1 break even but a good day profit wise as had 2 big winners, WYE and KSS.

It looks like E signal screwed up the open price. 1 second before a long list of 46.15 prints on secondary exchanges E signal has a NYSE print of 46.99.

I had an order in on WYE, around 46.00 but can't remember exactly, just missed a good winner.
