Also, I just checked NYSE's website and it shows BMY's previous close was indeed $27.15 ... The specialist must have been in a good mood this morning to have filled you @ $27.1 on you natural short ... :)
 
X Dividend today.....28 cents, that explains the uptick. Since a stock will open "flat" at a lower price (the dividend amount), then anything higher than that adjusted price will be an uptick.

Thanks to Don and Spoonman27 ... Now it all makes sense now ... I guess I need to pay attention to upcoming xd's and adjust for them in the future ...

Wednesday I made a whopping $18!! But, at least we had decent night of Blackjack last night........:)

$80 bucks.....got out way to soon on KRB, but I was "influenced" by the general market condition.....short day, Specialists gone, all that stuff....

Seemed very quiet this morning.

Did anyone else notice this?

Only got 4 fills when on a day like this I'd usually get AT LEAST a dozen.

Not complaining as they were all profitable:D
