Dear Sir,
I am confused about MOO NYSE trading. What and how is it done? I know there are order imbalances posted before the open but that is about all I know.
I am not intetrested in how yu select where to place your orders but mechanicaly how is it done, eg the imbalances get posted when, do you place the MOO with or against the imbalance etc.

We don't concern ourselves with the imbalances, we simply place orders on both the buy and sell side on a group of stocks, day after day. The prices are based on Fair Value calculations (see prior "Don's Opening" threads for details).
As far as the mechanics of it, we simply place "OPG" orders (Opening Only)...which are are either filled or cancelled at the opening.

Only 2 fills, BMY and CCU, and once again in my attempt to show consistency vs. overall gain for my boot campers....I covered way, way to soon....especially CCU....my slingshot was only 9 cents...and I got filled immediately.
Anyway, + $260 (13 cents) today....
