Don's openings Part 3

I broke my streak of 22 straight winning days, and gave back about 1200 today (got a bit stubborn with the drug stocks).

Robert T, we surprised to see that you feel the effectiveness gone. We have honestly being doing better in June and July on openings, firm wide.

Back to it today...

got out waaaaaay too early. i cut my size back to just 200 from 400 after the debacle last week. of course, i knew it would happen, lose when trading 400 and make money on 200, but i could not afford another day like that. plus, i need to work on my exits, especially when i have a lot of positions. today, 4 wins 1 scratch and 1 loss for about 75 cents after commissions. even made money on a short.

Good one...yeah, we all left some money on the table this morning...but nonetheless, a good opening. Get your confidence back, and get your share size back up....remember, we shoot for about 80% with this, so we will have a bad day every so often...

Didn't say the effectiveness was gone. I just noticed that I was having to have tighter and tigher envelopes and add more and more stocks to keep my daily P&L the same.

Look at when I stopped posting.....was a few months ago.
Triple witching and most of July (the 4th of July week sucked)
