hire a clerk...i use 3 different news sources and none are automatic....about an hour each am for about 100 stocks...

Very basic, but you can set up a string search on Yahoo Finance to search and list all headlined for your string of symbols.
No fills for me today, should be better now that I don't have take out so many earnings stocks.

Has anyone noticed if they got any price improvement on any hybrid stocks when exiting the OPG fills ??? I did get it once on PG a couple weeks ago...which was nice....4 cents.
Remember there is a differnce between getting actual price improvement vs. getting a better price than entered. Even in eMini's you can send in a 1386 bid, and get filled at 1385.50 if the offer is there.
If the bid is .05 and offer is .10 and you try to pay .10 and get .06, now that's real price improvement in my mind. If you tried to pay .14 and got .10, then it's just giving you the actual market price.

From the limited fills I've had with the hybrid, I haven't seen price improvement. Plenty of slippage if you cross an order though; not like you used to be able to do when the specialist was handling it. You need to adjust so you don't "walk the book" yourself.
is anybody else using ib for opens? my open only order function is gone with the last upgrade i did. what gives. this sucks it they will not let us do opens anymore.
i'm using build 861.5 Aug 16,2006 and OPG is still there.
