ok, this clears things up for me - i have always thought that licensing is typically required when you either handle the firm's capital or provide investment advice - it makes sense with the high leverage you provide to your traders.
good thing i was long that put spread in RIMM....don't have to worry about it...offered at 0.00....i guess i will just wait till oct experation to make my killing....

Yeah, I checked after it opened for a story...saw it...traded a bit (covered at .30 sold back at .45...bought back at .32 ended up about even (but I don't count that as an opening of course).
