only took longs today, good thing too as mer would have killed me.

wmt -.18 tried to bail at b/e but just kept going 1x1 and dropping

hon +350.00 bailed on my trailing 500 at +.50

utx +80.00, this one is all over the place, it went up then dropped about .20, so I just bailed when it came back. LOL

I'm still seeing almost all of my profits due to letting half the position ride. I'm pretty sure if I would have just followed the rules, utx and hon would have given me even more money.

I recently banished WMT since it decided not to play nice after March, and I'm down for the year in it.

No fills today.

You are correct and I thank you for the "lightbulb".

I will do the same.

I'm looking for issues that not only "play nice", but have the potential to move >.50 from the open. While wmt's atr(10) is around .80, it really isn't a mover in the sense that cat, mer, txn, hon and utx can be. Of course, these patterns change over time, so I will monitor it.
 
.5 both sides, 500 shares (normally increase size, but added more stocks instead)

4 fills, 3 long, 1 short, all losers

Pretty bad for expiry.

really quite day for experation...

i agree this week was a tough one...

only entered longs today with no fills.

shorts that would have been filled were hpq & utx, both would have been losers or b/e at best.
