Don's openings and more for 2005

3 stocks 1 scratch (LUV) and 2 losers.... ABT was one of them... I held it for a while and watched it go for me 10 cents and then fall right back down.... piece of garbage. I forget what the other stock was....
crap day. -$500 (1000sh / position)
I only lost that much becuase I ended up long 5k ABT I think. Someone lifted NSDQ b4 I could nail it. JERK, whydidya have to hit him for all his size... couldda left me 5k...

We get concerned a bit about wider bid/offer spreads.

19 orders/38 stocks, 2 fills
Winner: ABT (Long, 8 cents)
Loser: S (Short ,4 cents)
I am not sure if i got out my trade too early or wut... for example on S, it gapped up w/ the S&P gapped down slightly, and it ran further up for another 10 cents... i got jiggled out for 4 cents loser.... it then came all the way back to my short entry...
I guess as Don said, exit is the hardest part in playing the openings...
please advice

12 fills 1000 shares each... too many fills, didn't handle them well.
took an 800 loss in GT, had a bid get taken out lost over 10 cents on 6k shares... (that postition got added to...)
btw that's the same mistake 2 days in a row... not to be made again!
maybe cancel remaming orders after i get 5 fills... 12 is a little too much to watch unless they're all running in your direction...

Gag, cough, blah, stupid opening.....LOL. HPQ, PG both a nightmare this morning.....one long, one short, both gapping... stupid Cramer picks PG, and HPQ just kept tanking....(-$950).
Stupid opening only orders....(just kidding, it happens to the best of us sometimes).....
Back at it tomorrow...then off to the traders expo....
