You cannot short without an uptick at any time. Doesn't matter what kind of order it is or whether it's on the open.

1 long, 1 short, both wins but very small (story of the week). Left quite a bit on the table but my stock was defying the odds after a shaky start and I can't play that way...+57.50

Have a good weekend everyone. Steelers Saturday night vs. Miami. Unfortunately you won't see the game unless you are lucky enough to be in western PA or South Florida. But take heart in the fact that when the regular season starts, you'll be able to see every game on NFL Sunday Ticket

when we were on the floor we used to have our new clerks go to the stock desk and ask for a box of upticks...

cruel yes...but funny as hell...

maybe our poster thought we still had some left...:D
 
Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. This thead seems pretty active. After scanning a few pages i was not able to figure out if everyone here fallows some particular strategy or just keeping their"Trade Jornal" public.

Try your search again with the "Search titles only" and "Show results as threads" buttons checked. The results should be a lot more manageable.
