Don's openings and more for 2005

Awesome journal and techniques - do you fellas ever attempt to get filled on ECN between 9:15 and 9:30? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't but just wanted to check - also, once the market opens who do you prefer to route through or is it always NYS?

Since we are "betting" on the NYSE Specialist making money on the opening trade (when there is a gap of any sort), we only place orders prior to the opening...marked "opening only." We can close positions via NYSE or any ECN.

It's been okay so far. Yesterday 1700 and today 250.
Does anybodyelse notice that the opening has been quite volatile this past few weeks. I only use not even half of my normal size due to bad result last time and still worried but the swings in profit and loss has been double or triples.

Maybe just me that I switch around my stock selection or anybodyelse also has the same experience.
 
yesterday dsl outage.... backup puked also

no trade to speak of

today one fill -64.00

blocked csc and wy on earnings ....

would have made good dough if not blocked....

oh well..:(
