Don's openings and more for 2005

Quote from reid5525:

These days are not bullish enough to present an abundance of opportunity to trade two-day breakouts. But, there are enough of them in there to keep me in the game. I showed you three of them for today, in my earlier post.
What I want to do later is gather up a handfull of newbies and give them the calls, a little trading group, if you know what I mean.

Good idea, start a thread, post the possible breakouts before the opening for the new people to see.....add something of value to the board.

Good luck with it!

I would'nt post before the opening. I evaluate stocks while they are in motion. Usually I start scanning around 10am and then I pick my candidates.
I am not going to show all of my strategy on this board at anytime, though I do participate to the extent that I will.
I only came back on here because I wanted to hear from jimclark on his absolutely wierd short trade. Would like to know how jim handles it finally.

2 fills 500 shares each

1 long 1 short +145.00

couldn't short the oil service today which killed me yesterday...someone put them on the hard to borrow list erroneously...

would have made good money on them today...never fails.. when something is amiss you never get kissed.. just screwed...oh well

+ 1.55 / - .45 %

No such thing as coulda made more......either you did or did not! Perhaps you should start taking your own advice and make some more! :)

Good trading to you!

You're right....as my good friend, Darren signs his posts with:

"Should have, would have, could have, are all "did not."

The best to you Mike!
