Admitted nocoiner here... I dunno about it being a scam... but you gotta think.... digital coins are "worth" (??) what they are simply because some people believe in the notion that a unique string of numbers (block chain) has value... even VERY high value?

(Saw a post about a guy who invested $3,000 in Shiba Inu... owns 350 million coins... currently trading ~ 9x10^-6. If Shiba ever becomes worth 1/10 of $.01, he's golden.)
