Unlike others on this board I am willing to give an elected presidential candidate an opportunity to demonstrate they can perform -- then I judge them in regards to their performance.
Back in 2016 before Trump was even elected there were numerous people on the left tossing stuff at him simply because he was a Republican -- to the level of demonstrating TDS simply on the basis of his party association. It was only after Trump got into office that he demonstrated what a complete failure he was in regards to government service. Especially in the last year in office when Trump failed to properly address two key crises; the BLM protests and Covid.
Similarly I gave Biden leeway until he took office and demonstrated his performance. Biden has not done very well -- but at least he has not attempted to completely undermine our democracy like Trump. I even started a thread outlining Biden's epic Failures.
