House Republicans are unveiling a new bill that would demand Joe Biden’s administration not only restart Donald Trump’s border wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, but it would also allow for a dramatic increase in hiring Border Patrol agents.
The bill would also send $100 million a year to police departments on the borders with Canada and Mexico to help replenish their resources
“From finishing the border wall system to modernizing technology and bolstering border staffing, this legislation tackles key shortcomings and weaknesses we’ve seen for ourselves that are fueling the border crisis,” Mr. Katko said.

Former President Donald Trump accused legacy media outlets on Sunday of continually making the claim that “there is no evidence of election fraud,” pledging in a statement issued by his Save America PAC that “in the end, truth will win.”
“The New York Times, and others, always insert a clause into their stories, ‘without evidence, that the election was decided fraudulently.’ As usual, this is fake news,” Trump said in his statement.
He added that there is “massive” and “unconditional” evidence that last fall’s presidential election was “shattered with fraud and irregularities” at an unprecedented level never seen before in the United States.
“Much of it is already public, and a great deal more is coming out in the very near future,” he stated.

On Saturday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Donald Trump is owed a million dollar refund on a skyscraper, according to a state order. But the Cook County’s attorney general, Kimberly Foxx, has filed a lawsuit to block the tax refund for Trump personally.
“The Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board has decided former President Donald Trump is due a $1 million refund on his skyscraper’s 2011 tax bill, ruling last month that the Cook County Board of Review overestimated the value of the building’s hotel rooms and retail space,” the Sun Times reported.
“But the Cook County State’s Attorney has filed suit with the Illinois Appellate Court, seeking to block the tax refund, which has yet to be issued,” the report continued.

The development is raising eyebrows considering speculation is swirling that the former president may run again in 2024.
Trump’s former chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, gave a cryptic message on the meetings at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, saying the team is working on “what comes next” with the 2022 and 2024 elections.
“We met with several of our Cabinet members tonight,” Meadows said. “We actually had a follow-up member — meeting with some of our Cabinet members, and as we were looking at that. We were looking at what does come next. I’m not authorized to speak on behalf of the president, but I can tell you this, Steve: We wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with President Trump at the head of that ticket.”
