On Sunday night, Intrade, the online-prediction exchange that became famous during last year’s Presidential election, said that it was closing down forthwith following the discovery of “financial irregularities.”

During the Presidential contest, there were rumors about efforts to manipulate Intrade’s election market, which many journalists, myself included, monitored closely to see how investors and bettors were viewing the chances of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney

I am aware Intrade shutdown but that dosnt change the odds at the time.Intrade odds were similar to other betting market odds like betting market odds are all similar now idiot.

All of the major Democratic presidential candidates have committed to attend the annual meeting of a black organization that is presenting its annual award to President Donald Trump for his work on criminal justice reform. The president is receiving the “Bipartisan Justice Award” Friday in Columbia, South Carolina, from “the 20/20 Bipartisan Justice Center, a group founded by twenty black Republicans and twenty black Democrats in 2015,” the Daily Caller reported. The award is being presented at the 2019 Second Step Presidential Justice Forum, which is being held at Benedict College, one of roughly 100 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the U.S.

You are aware they made the black students to stay inside their dorms so Trump wouldn't get booed right?

Trump speaks at HBCU Benedict College as students are asked to stay in dorms

COLUMBIA, S.C. – In a way, what happened outside Benedict College's gates in the heart of downtown felt quite small. At its peak, the crowd covered less than 100 yards of the sidewalk. But the scene itself represented something much bigger: the fractured, divisive, sometimes ugly and often loud American political climate.

Protests erupted outside the 150-year-old historically black college where inside a school auditorium President Donald Trump spoke to a room filled with more political allies than students.

The event was billed as a keynote speech on bipartisan success in criminal justice reform, which the president tied to the booming economy he takes credit for and that he told his audience has helped black people more than ever before.

Benedict students, who the week prior pondered what questions they might ask the president once his surprise visit to the forum" was announced, were asked to stay in their dorms.

Seven students were allowed inside for the speech.

The requests for students and faculty to remain inside was a matter of security, school spokeswoman Kymm Hunter said. The school's police worked in conjunction with the Secret Service to develop a security plan out of "safety concerns and threats of protests," she said.

Classes were canceled, and students were served lunch inside their dorms from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Best job growth in history.

That's an excuse . . . . . .

Trump keeps on saying HE created the greatest economy in history , the greatest stock market in history , said he will bring back jobs from China and India , that African Americans and Hispanics have never had it better before. He promised that he will be the ''greatest jobs President that God ever created.''

Show me where are those jobs.

Ya know along those lines, he takes credit, and quite braggadociously so, for our status now as the largest oil producer in the world. He says it all the time at his rallies, like it was Trump himself that personally turned the tide of our dependence on Middle East oil. Gimmee a break. Its annoying really. That stuff was in the works loooong before he ever set foot in the White House. I mean yeah he might have eased up some rules on pipelines or various other epa things, but taking credit for the whole thing.... he really is fos.
The base sucks it up at those rallies though.

Whoever the Dems nominate.... I hope they are a great debater because I can't wait to see the first debate and someone try to take him down and call him out one on one on the stage in front of the entire world. . I'm tellin ya, its gonna set records.... Super-Bowl level viewership.

United States remains the world’s top producer of petroleum and natural gas hydrocarbons

The United States remained the world's top producer of petroleum and natural gas hydrocarbons in 2016 for the fifth straight year despite production declines for both petroleum and natural gas relative to their 2015 levels. The United States has been the world's top producer of natural gas since 2009, when U.S. natural gas production surpassed that of Russia, and it has been the world's top producer of petroleum hydrocarbons since 2013, when its production exceeded Saudi Arabia’s.
