-- cutting $845 billion from Medicare
-- increasing the defense budget to $750 billion next year, a 5 percent increase from 2019
-- The budget foresees a $1.1 trillion deficit in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and a $1 trillion deficit in 2022.
-- government will spend $482 billion on interest payments for the debt next year, more than the entire budget for Medicaid
Right off the bat one would think he's making it out to be he doesn't want to get elected, but remember the three R's of his base: the rich, the religious and the racists. The rich are really going to run up the debt to try and get rid of the Medicare/Medicaid/social safety net programs. The other two groups only adhere to dog whistles, they're too dumb to understand much of anything else.
