I think people have to choose the words wisely.
there is blame for the virus - bats, China, Voldemort
there is blame for the improper reaction to the virus - Mr. "I take no responsibility" Trump
They are 2 different things that people are confusing or conflating together.
So Trump can direct blame for the cause of the virus at China and their cover up of the facts but he cannot deflect blame for the mistakes in reacting to the virus.
They are 2 different things.
Media is not responsible for reacting to the virus threat so when he says the NYT said it was not a big deal in January ..I would l ike to assume the government is held to a higher standard with access to more information in making informed decidions than fuck monkey who writes for a paper and did not decide it was not a big deal because of the article.
When Trump said it would go away and was not a big deal, I did not hear him say he based is decisions on what the media told him haha.
