As I said, your evidence is circumstantial. For example, could we not argue that cash reserves are at record highs because the tax bite is so low? My evidence is circumstantial as well. The point is, there are reasonable alternative explanations for why investment activity is subdued right now. Just looking at interest rates at the corner bank, and the explosive growth of crowd funding, it's clear there's a shitload of capital just sitting around, looking for something.

Those are interesting conclusions that would logically follow if the interest rate was market determined. Since it's set artificially with qe in the mix, it's really more a reflection of the lack of consumer capital then a glut of it. Deflationary times. Consumers paying down debt. Pushing on a string etc.

Banks have lots of reserves but consumer balance sheets aren't There.

President Donald Trump is making the USA better for majority of Americans! They can lie thru their teeth and bash him 24/7 non-stop but, majority of patriotic Americans who love the USA will appreciate his efforts and support him 1,000%. Liberals think their lies are going to bring President Trump down! Not even close chumps! When the liberals actually do something worthwhile, they might have a chance. Not when all they do is try and destroy the USA from within!
