I dont wish to detract from the topic of this thread and the greatness of Trump, however...

What political or monetary advantage can be gained from claiming that burning fossil fuels creates co2 and is immensely damaging to the environment? I dont see it. Whether you believe it's man made or not, only a fool would deny the earth is warming up.

Most years I would find this argument persuasive, even if it is the same one used to fool us into supporting Mitch McConnell.

But this election has one transcendant issue, immigration, and Trump is the only candidate to take a firm position on it. We know virtually very other republican candidate will roll over on amnesty, one way or another, so if we can't win with Trump, it doesn't really matter who wins. Actually, if someone like Jeb gets the nomination, I want to see them lose. If the country is going to be hosed, let someone utterly loathsome like hillary do it.
 
this seems to be a loaded question.

why would you assume a naturally present gas which has historically trailed warming and cooling could be immensely damaging. Its a laggard. it is probably similar to water vapor. Warmer air holds more.

now. politically... if your question was serious.... you need to become more cynical. Politics is now about money and control and power.

What could be more powerful than controlling business and peoples use of power and electricity? How wealthy will the carbon exchange owners be?

The only other bigger sleeper issue I can think of is free speech. And look what Obama is doing. Putting the internet in the hands of an international body?

If the establishment cronies continue run things, if our Our kids don't marry in to banker families they will be lucky if they can even speak of the fact they need a larger carbon footprint just to earn more money to buy food.
