Donald Trump says he's going to make Apple build computers in the US

Is this guy a communist or a populist? I don't like Hillary but I will vote for her, she is far better than crazy Donald.

So, just so I understand this better, you think that suggesting a company to put more manufacturing and employment in the market where it sells most of it's products is communist? Furthermore, you think that voting for a corrupt, paid-in-full and owned by wall street Clinton is a better choice for "freedom"?

You're in rare company, Fletcher.

This is the 1st post I recall seeing of yours... and you've made my ON IGNORE!! list. Congrats!

You want to sell stuff in china, they require you to not only make it there but share your IP with Chinese companies. Then they steal what you don't share.

The free trade regime of the last 25 years or so has been fantastic for China and Germany and for our wonderful CEO's, not so great for factory workers here. We don't have to demolish it completely but we should insist on bilateral trade deals that insure reciprocal treatment.

are market is so big that if we were to do it right we could eliminate income tax, have single payer insurance and have more jobs here.

but establishment politicians don't want to do it right.

No sir, I just think that manufacturing in the U.S. is far more expensive than manufacturing in China and since the PC market is highly competitive Apple has to put down it costs, MacBooks are already the cost a lot, and if Apple will manufacture them in the U.S. the costs will increase and the prices on Macs will rise too, and if prices are going on demand for products shrinks. So who is going to win from this move?

Producing goods in China significantly cut costs, and if the U.S. manufacturers will have to produce everything in the U.S. - we will lose market share in every niche, this is 100%.

Of course, it is not good for factory workers, and it never will. BUT our factory workers live and earn much better than Chinese.
