FuturePath Trading is an IB, not a FCM. Clearing through MF means the funds are held are MF.

Don Miller switching to the Photon platform just means using FuturePath Trading as an IB with the account funds still held at the same clearing firm as before: MF Global.
 
You are correct, just assumed they were an fcm as I do not know many ib's that add any value other than hand holding for noobs. Oh wait! Now I see why Linda uses an IB, she has skin in the game!

Agree Don is often quite melodramatic. But, in this case he may have lost millions through no fault of his own, even if only for a time. Not sure why anyone would want to "rip" him for that. But then again this is EliteFailedTrader.. I'm sure everyone here wouldn't even be phased by such a situation.. lol
