That's not what the writer meant in the blog:

"I chuckled to myself thinking how foolish people can be. 21 guys could have gotten most of their money back after a week and nobody did. "

I think he meant they could have asked for a money refund for most of their payment (after a week), but nobody did.

Thing is, no one with the mindset to pay that kind of money up front is likely to ask for it back unless you are an asshat.

Keep in mind that Don Miller interviewed over 100 applicants to pick the 21 Jellies. He wanted a winning group so I'm certain that he didn't take any losers, whiners or quitters.

Speaking of Don Miller (yes, the actual subject of this thread), he appears to be enjoying himself these days.

Must be nice to actually get people to pay you to re-energize yourself and get yourself kicked out of a rut. Nothing like an epiphany, synchronicity and synergism all coming together.
