Don Miller 2.

Quote from Pekelo:

So if a decent chunk of the Jellies are making decent money a few months after they are let to swim alone, I would consider it a success on Don's behalf.

The problem is you will never know the TRUTH.

The traders that lose money will disappear in embarrassment for being so stupid to fork over 10k.

You may here from 1 or 2 that do ok but it's my opinion that these guys would make money with a simple MA cross over method just as easily.

Successful trading has almost nothing to do with the style employed and is 95% psychological and attitude.

I do believe that Don makes money, what I don't believe is that it can be learned in a 10k seminar over 30 days.

The reason I call Don a slick salesmen is I think he knows this too and that's what I believe is WRONG.

But the Jellies get full immersion into the Don Miller Bullshit tank for a full month.

That experience has got to be worth at least 10K.

True. I mostly agree with the rest of what you said, except maybe the Don knowing or not that trading can not be taught. Actually, it was the psychological aspect (the approach to trading) what I liked the most about his blog, not the discussed strategies (if there was such a thing) and charts.

If the students take away at least a positive approach to trading and increased confidence, then it can be considered a success although more of as a trading coach (as a shrink) and not as a teacher of a winning system.

And yes, it is really hard to measure things in the future because the students can start to alter the methods or picking up new ones from other sources so it can be impossible to know just how much of it is contributed to that 4 weeks of learning.

This entire thread is a hoot. The facts are this: some people paid some money(their option) for some education/first hand look from a guy that trades. No where in the deal are they or him required to disclose to anybody anything concerning that transaction. I can't for the life of me figure out why the anger, it isn't anyone else's money. Is it any wonder they won't respond? Like I posted earlier, we know what he does, all we are doing now is determining how much it will cost you. At least this deals with an individual who actually fires up the trading platform, unlike some others. As far as outsiders "learning(stealing)" from it, well, like I said, it's been funny. :)

I have been reading Don's blog for a year and always enjoyed his rumblings...however I was very surprised that he became a vendor who thinks $7,500 is a great deal to people who are strugling in trading.....hit them for some more....and he is not finished yet. I beleive the price now is back to $10,000.

He did e-mail me asking me if I would like to be part of the jellies, my response, maan you are to excessive on these fees....plus I hate when people hate vendors and then become them again...I guess mighty dollar speaks louder then voice of honesty...I personally gain nothing from reading his blog, but kept coming back to reading it, because I beleived in a fellow trader honesty of the blog...I am not coming back any more ...

PureTruth: Is there such a thing as PureTruth? Nonetheless, show me any education having to do with anything (let alone trading) that doesn't give a disclaimer and promises 100% success.

Bob

I said the HYPOTHETICAL DISCLAIMER part of the whole disclaimer.

If he was only talking about real trades, he would not need to put up a hypothetical disclaimer

And by the way, post your statements and your magnicient trades you scamster or are you just like the other chickens--demand Don Miller to post his but you won't post yours.

Bob

Yoy are really TOO FUNNY ,
we are not the ones claiming on a free blog to make big cashingo, DON IS

or must I say , you are LMAO

Don is the snake oil vendor , not us ,elite posters..

Besides you , most of us agree about Don being a scam....

Quote from bobfrank:

To all you folks who consider Don Miller a liar and demand he show statements. I don't think there is anything he could do to prove what he said he accomplished in 2008 or at any other time. First of all, my statements are 6-10 pages per day depending how many contracts I traded. Do you want him to give you all his daily statements for the year? Or how about his beginning statement ending with his last statement of the year. And even if he posted those statements he could easily change them to suit his quote "lies". You could also ask his broker for his statement but according to many of you his broker is probably someone who lacks integrity and so could make them up to.

Then you might say, well Don or his broker would be liable and could be sued and taken to court. Please tell me, who is going to waste their time with the all American game of Litigation.

From what I read on this forum it is a no win game for Don and anything he would do (whether true or not) would still be taken as a lie and someone who is simply duplicitous.

Bob

PS IN READING THROUGH THIS FORUM MANY TIMES PEOPLE DEMAND OR WANT TO SEE STATEMENTS AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE SHOW A STATEMENT—PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG

Simply , start with putting up his monthly statements and get a full audit, then even a skeptic like me, will believe he made $1.5 million.

But hey, neither of the 2 are gonna happen...

This is what you have to demand from a guy like Don who has been ALL HIS LIFE a snake oil vendor...

Why would we need to show statements ?

Again, we are not the ones selling a course for $10 K , is that so difficult for you to understand ?

This reminds of that old joke ...

A rich old bastard (my input :p ) is seated next to an attractive and proper young lady and engages her in conversation. Suddenly he says, "Would you sleep with me for a million dollars?"

The lady blushes, but seeing the humor in the request, agrees. "Well, would you sleep with me for five dollars?"

"Certainly not!" she says, now offended. "Just what kind of woman do you think I am?"

"Madam, we've already established what you are. Now we're just haggling over the price."

:D :D :D
