Dollars per point

I believe this is exactly what I wanted to know, assuming that 'value per point' is the same thing as 'dollar per point', is that correct?
Do other price quotes than "cents per [...]" and "dollars and cents per [...]" exist?

"dollar per point" and "value per point" is the same for instruments which are denoted in USD. If you decide to use instruments in other currencies then you would need to covert "value per point" of that instrument into "dollar per point". Example: the European stock index ESTX50 futures contracts denotes in EUR. It has 10 Euro "value per point", which would currently be (approx.) 11.20 "dollar per point".
