Dollar breaking down

Quote from urrterrible:

I know nothing and I mean nothing about FOREX.

But I want to short the USD, should I buy the ETF: PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bearish (UDN)?

Or is shorting the USD to some other particular currency better? And if so I guess I should start learning the FOREX, damn it....

Thanks

Try DXDDX. It's a fund, not an ETF, but is a 2.5X inverse of the dollar.

I want to be able to get in and out of it fast, I do not want to invest in a mutual fund. There is a min investment for that fund to at 25K I think. Thanks tho.

Quote from Akemi:

I don’t even understand why that little US upward can be called “flight to quality” since the beginning the crisis started in US
Why just for a moment did US dollars go up and then as you say “the superficial flight to 'quality' may be ending”?
Fundamental analysis here is essential

Just a matter of image, I guess when the Obama election and his friendly face plus FED cutting in interest rates and the mass deceit came together the price raised but the image has passed and the truth is on the table, USD bearish for time

Forex has tons of liquidity any time of day except end of the year where it gets a bit thin. You should try to avoid CAD (exposure to oil) and AUD (exposure to Gold). EUR is pretty safe to trade the dollar with.
