I think it would be more objective to just backtest it and then simulate trade it...then post the statistical results of both. Anything else will be just hearsay.

Well I hear’d I didn’t make any money today. Then I found out why. I didn’t trade! Nary a single trade.
Doesn’t it concern you with handle123 burning his trading books and getting hypnosis? I don't think that qualifies as heresay. But again, I did heared it and I did said it.
Why would he not believe in psychology yet get hypnosis??

Everyone wants to be a millionaire without working for it. Not going to happen! Not in your lifetime or even 10 lifetimes. A moving average is a lagging indicator meaning prices have long moved before your moving average moves in the same direction. So, you are how many steps behind what is happening to your stock, a slave to the moving average? You probably, can construct multiple trading systems that will make you monies in the stockmarket but, you still have to backtest it! No shortcuts! A moving average trading system is probably, not the best idea out there!

IF Anyone can source a trading plan for this method, please post it to this thread and be number one too! lol This is not an ego thing as no-one has claimed to support the T-Line method at this juncture, so . . .
The yutube vid is all that I have seen of this.
again a trading plan Would be most excellent. Don't have nor know where it exists.
Now, then . . . to the business at hand.
we post ANY every (REPLACE THAT WORD WITH "ANY") chart image where T-Line trading DOES NOT WORK.
Post any Image(s) of T-Line trades you find that Do Not Work, entry to exit, whipsaws and all.
At this juncture, simply post AnY chart image we can find where T-Line trading does not work.
If later we investigate and find a "nuance" is claimed in the video that we missed, no harm no foul.
If a caviat that is not mentioned in the vid is claimed by a supporter of the 'system" we get legit documentation of that 'fact" add it to the trading plan, move forward.
Unbuild the facade one brick at a time.
At least the ratio of works to not works will emerge rapidly.
My brief survey looks positive at this point.
Would not trade it live mind you, but I've seen worse by far, lol.
Please, One Chart, that's all we ask, maybe 10 15 mins effort max.
If eventually we have a trading plan to test, all the better.
Whether it's worth a plug nickel under scrutiny, lord only knows - and he aint talkin.

Looks like many entry and exit signals and triggers can be spotted by combining
Bigalow Major Candlestick Signals from this list with the T-Line Methodology.
Find one that doesn't work according to the linked video.
Just One, And post an image of that Bad Boy to this thread.

I have no idea if he's a successful trader, or even an actual trader. He seems to be a decent marketer, though (although his jokes are terrible).
But I suspect that even he doesn't try to suggest that T-lines can be traded as an independent "signal" in a vacuum. Pretty sure he's said something similar about his candlestick patterns (as has Nison). And if it's not to be traded in a vacuum, then it might not be backtestable unless all of the other parameters can be easily quantified.

You make a good point, mr S-Trader
Steve Bigalow mentions candlestick entry signals as an adjunct to the T-Line method.
If we start there, the backtest question might be
can any backtest methodology be identified that operates on - candlestick entry signals -
mr B lists 10 or 12 of his favorite candlestick signals.
suitable to my mind would be to backtest ANY of that cadre that are easily accomplished by the least troublesome method.
trader can make a fine living with one well understood entry setup, properly leveraged.
i'm not familiar with backtest software.
A trader reading this will hopefully have a lead on some good info to move this further, that Would be Most Excellent.
