Does Steve Jobs USUALLY attend conference calls?

No he never does. However there has been talk about his health from a Fund manager who saw him at a conf. recently and said he wasn't looking good. I think he is recovering from pancreatric cancer but may be wrong about that. Still, doesn't have anything to do with why he wasn't on the call, his MO is not to attend them.
 
The SEC only recently dismissed the options backdating
case against Apple and Jobs. "Jail" was mentioned for Jobs in some of the national media in connection with this issue. That could have taken something out of him - especially as a person who has had cancer and didn't need that kind of stress.
