Does size matter?

With what seems to be most bids/offers not showing true size (and the existence of dark pools?), does advertised bid/ask size really matter in making trading decisions?

I believe it used to matter, but most of the time doesn't anymore.

Thoughts? Perhaps you've found in some markets it does more than others?

It matters in the meat market. Always has. More meat is better than.....
