Schwab bought TD Ameritrade. They said they are transitioning to TDA systems.

IB has the most comprehensive API available for retail. I've looked and there's really nothing else that comes close. If you don't need portfolio margin and don't mind paying $9 for exercise/assignment, then consider Tradier as it seems to offer lower cost for options.
