Does Probability exist?

It's not about attacking the poster, it's about being able or unable to justify a claim. When I say I am rubbish and expect a win rate of 0.3 I can back it with real time calls, it's as simple as that.
Then show me real proof that 95% of daytraders lose money. I mean REAL proof, not an article that tells this. I want accounts, like you want accounts too. And to be reliable it should be thousands of accounts.

It is about attacking the poster. If people write:
TEYCIR:You are certainly losing $ in case you are not playing monopoly $ out of your mum's basement.
ODDTRADER:Perhaps ask also his previous nicknames on ET in the last 10 years before the current one!

It has nothing to do with real arguments.

I understand what you mean and it is fair. I saw in so many cases that someone suggested 50-70 points gains and only failed to showed the proof of entry. It is all mirage profits.

I never asked for any statements or PnL snapshots, real time or in advance calls easily justify a claim of having a high win rate. Than again I used to have a win rate above 65% when I had an average target equal to an average loss, but that eventually ended and I had to readjust by setting higher targets.

Ok-- its hard to argue with an anonymous poster. Maybe you are an exceptional trader, you really haven't said anything to make me think you are not-- unlike many here-- there own words give them away. surf
Anonymous or not is irrelevant. Arguments are relevant.

I am obsessed by trading and I like to help people. Also like to discuss about trading. But that is not a good attitude on ET. Each time I get caught in stupid discussions, and each time I say to myself: stop posting.
I will try again to stop posting on ET. I don't need ET and ET does not need me, so no harm done if I stop posting. Maybe future will tell who was a good trader and who wasn't. Who could add value and who couldn't. Or: was everything that was posted true or not.

I will try now not to post again on ET, but it will be difficult.

Please don't misunderstand a thing: Actually I myself do enjoy your posts! A lot of fun indeed! I think ET needs you!

I trade intraday with this margin. But that is the only part in my example that corresponds with my real trading. For the last 10 years never a margin call, never a drawdown bigger than 25%. But I use only a small part of my capital. So if I would wipe out my account I can start immediatelly again without any problem.
My margin is also calculated based on the performance and risks of my system. How quickly do you get out of a losing trade, that's important. Do you lose 1,2,3 or 15 points? You should see the whole picture.
But even with a margin of 2.400$, so double of what I use, the capital after 1 year will still be 300.000$ with 1 point profit, 3.4 million with 2 points profit and 6.6 million with 3 points profit.

I don't quite follow the figures as maths is always my weakness!

OOOOOOH that's very good news! People on ET told me that the average trader here trades 1-3 cars. So I was sweating all the time with my 200 contracts. Now I can reduce my position by 100!. :D

Still waiting answer from emg about my question. What would he do with that postion????

Does Probability exist?

Certainly it exists

As does certainty..., and uncertainty

Never confuse the environment / conditions each thrive in

Don't agree, I started to win because my knowledge improved. I am profitable for over 10 years now. Markets did not stay the same during this period.
If it has nothing to do with me, it would mean that the market gave me over 10 years of profit now????? In most cases the markets TAKE profits from traders and present them losses.
