does pattern recognization work with tick or volume chart?

in my experience pattern works much better with time chart

and some complicate patterns works well in higher time frame such as triangle w bottom and so on

some patterns works well in lower time frame

my question is does pattern recognization work well with tick or volume chart?

In order to say that you think patterns work better in time charts you must know or have a pretty good idea on how they work or don't work in tick/volume charts.

I think it's a matter of taste. Some claim time some tick some volume.

Personally, I like constant volume bars.
