Does Obama "tweet"? Trumps tweets and it seem Unpresidential

Tweeting is an effective form of communicating with the public in these times. If the president holds a press conference, how many people will watch it on TV? A million? two million? If the president tweets, he reaches 14.7 million right away.

But press conferences are also on the Internet aren't they? That's where I see them. I don't even watch TV unless it is sports. And people walking around like robots with their phones in their hands is also weird. At least to me it is. And could a whole press conference be tweeted?

Most people have a smart phone and a lot of people are on twitter. I get that you probably don't use it, but there are a lot of people that do. Technically a press conference could be tweeted in video format, but on TV or the internet, you would never be able to see what the president just randomly commented on. That kind of thing is very interesting to a lot of people. It makes them feel more human, if you get what I mean. Especially since you can respond to tweets and sometimes, if your response gets enough tweets(or your one of the first people to comment on their tweet), the tweeter might tweet you back.

I read an article yesterday I think it was and Trump explained why he tweets. It made sense to me. And what you say also makes sense.

.
Tweeting sounds like something Miley Cyrus would do.

Everybody who is anybody tweets. Only a few go on Jimmy Kimmel's *Mean Tweets*, like Miley Cyrus and...

...President Obama.

However, I do wish Trump would stop tweeting highly classified top secret info at 3 A.M.

Looks like I retreated Trump back in '12:

Oh, it looks like President-Elect Donald J. Trump plans to do more than tweet. Looks like he plans to look us directly in the face and tell us how things are going. No pompous presidential podiums (like the kind Obama let Hillary stand behind on one campaign stop). Just straight shooting without the safety net of a press corps (no pun intended) to tell us what he said.
