Does listening to music help your trading?

I find that having a rather large bowel movement, followed by the flushing of my toilet, gets me in the appropriate trading frame of mind.

I usually listen to Dawn Upshaw's Girl with Orange Lips when I trade the open.

During the day, I am partial to Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde and listening to Opera without Words employing Puccini's operas.

trance music is pretty good - as long as you are in the rythm

no words so it is less distracting
