In another thread, I mentioned that I believe our "God" was an alien high school teenager who was spoiled and undisciplined. Our universe was the result of an accident in his high school lab.
According to the Old Testament, God not only demanded that He be worshiped. He was strongly jealous, impulsive, and didn't value human lives. It is quite possible that the Old Testament was more a reflection of the human nature at the time when it was written rather than the true God. However, I think that the Bible is quite consistent on the character of God.
Even if one disregards the Bible. If we had no knowledge of the Bible, we'd still come up with the same conclusion. The universe is too intricate to be constructed by randomness, so there must be intelligence behind it. My premise is that the intelligence behind the creation is neither good nor bad, just uncaring. It set things in motion and now just has fun watching events unfold where each event fractures into in infinite timelines. He got bored and created the universe and humans. Now He's just having fun, that's all. Any comments?
