Does Brokerage account opening taking too long these days?

Well, it depends on the broker. IB is a top broker and I can imagine the number of application each day. Tenkofx account registration is instant. Same day funding an trading as well. I've known them for a long time. It is a small broker compared to IB. FXCM document verification is what makes their application approval longer than usual.
 
Varies with the broker though. I remember opening an account with Turnkey forex was pretty swift and effortless. However it might be possible that due to Covid-19 it may take more than usual time with some other brokers.
