Can the client see the actual margin used updated in real time or only an approximation from the previous day's close? This may depend on the platform used?
Next version of CQGTrader will provide real time margin value updates as well as purchasing power available on the account. CQG calulates margins based on current state of the market and current state of the account portfolio according to the parameters set by an FCM.
