Used to scalp it, but it had really nasty spikes that would kill a month of profits. Softs DOMs in general are hard to analyze.

The electronic contract has always been illiquid. I think there is still a pit ( the OJ guy in Wall Street warriors...) but I don't know if there is much volume.
 
the pit is options only. Not sure of the volume in OJ options, but coffee and cotton always quote a fairly tight market in the options (as softs go). I've always gotten decent fills on options spreads, even on the electronic spread book
