Does anyone have a Tempur-Pedic mattress?

If you want a Tempur-Pedic just go out and buy the foam and put it over your mattress with mattress cover on top of that. Boom...done.

However if you want real comfort look into this... http://www.duxbed.com/ But be prepared to pay up. I got mine in 1998...I think in was $8500 then,

But it's worth it. :)

I've been considering purchasing a Tempur-Pedic bed/mattress, but I would like to get some opinions before spending the money.

The price is pretty expensive, at $2,600 for the Deluxe mattress and another $500 for the foundation (king size).

If you have a Tempur Pedic, I'd be curious if you bought the foundation or just used your old box spring.

Also, if you would give your opinion on the quality of sleep you found with the TP bed.

I'm a side sleeper, so I get sore throughout the night and have to change sides frequently.

It's a steep price, but when you consider the amount of time you spend in bed, and the effect that the quality of your sleep is.

I have a newer bed, which is only 1.5 yrs, but I'm just not happy with it any longer.

Thanks for any feedback.

are you the guy same who claimed that he was a "pay load," JPL guy? Yet he didn't know that "Payload" is one word?

why is it worth 8500 hundred buks?

if it cost 18,500 now is it still worth it?

It's worth whatever a good nights sleep is worth to you. If you have back problems and sleeping problems and some money there is probably not too much of a limit as to what you might spend to resolve your problem.
I got a tempur-pedic a few years ago and have not had any back problems at all since, and I was starting to have some. It's very comfortable and I'd buy it again at 10 times the price.

A memory foam mattress topper might do the trick. Just be aware that they come in various thicknesses and densities.

Exactly...People sleep roughly 1/3 of their lives, I can think of few investments better than a really top quality mattress.
