Does anyone else Test your trading ideas with Small size?

Individual stocks ARE part of the S&P 500. If it moves 1% daily that means stocks move 1% daily, on average.
Really? All stocks are part of the S&P 500? hahahah, there is 10k stocks out there. you know the sp500 is called that because it has 500 hundred stocks

Testing trade setups and trade management strategies is useful.

I'm curious, how do you approach live tests in your trades?

With free stock and ETF commissions for USA traders now, its the perfect time to test using small size..

I typically test using just 20 or 30 shares at a time, then scale. Any thoughts?

A few people have tested my systems. When they follow the system, they get about the same results I do, but few people are able to stick with a rule-based system.

IMO, liquidity is part of your selection criteria or it is not.
If not, you may have lucky, rather than repeatable/duplicable results.

True;
in trading.
As far as investing, a good ETF trend is more important, within reason.Related to trading position size, i used a cash ETF like SPYG to find a bottom area, this year= easier/ less sloppy /less losses than a 3xETF........................................................................................

In general, for me, trading is already a big experiment. I specifically looked for a company that would offer good working conditions and a small deposit. While the broker chose ExpertOption, the results are more than satisfied.
