There is a big difference between proper opposition research (which is based on a candidates public speeches and verified facts -- which plenty exist for Trump) --- and the Steel Dossier (which is a compilation of fabrications and lurid nonsense - where the only correct "fact" is the spelling of Trump's name).

The Republicans funded proper opposition research by Fusion - the Democrats funded the Steele Dossier.

The Dossier, incorrect or correct as it may be, did not precipitate investigation into Russian interference into the 2016 election, or investigation into individuals associated with the Trump campaign that were known to have ties to Russia. That was underway already when the Dossier surfaced.

So if you know all this, and I assume you do, since it is common knowledge, why do you bother us with this bullshit recitation of innuendo?
