Do yourself a favour and don't trade today

NYOB - you should demand a commission rebate equal to your average expiration friday profit. That's crazy what they did, imagine if you had a large position on overnight.

As for the original post - day's like today are perfectly ok as long as you just stick to what you know, and don't go gambling outside your sphere of competence. Even if you don't want to trade it, why not just sit and watch what happens? That's the only way you'll learn how to handle these conditions, by learning and gaining experience.

I sure hope you're fucking right, because my office already did me the favor of making sure I can't trade today by locking the door and having all three risk managers decide not to show up. By the time I got back home from the commute it was 11:20 and I had already missed all the moves. I never make money on friday afternoons, and my connection at home is not stable enough to scalp from anyway. Argh......

So nobody could trade today? Who was watching the risk of the remote traders? Seriously man, there is a major problem here. This must be a sub LLC right?

I would agree with Mav.
This just doesn't sound right.

The remote traders had no issue's there. I can't get into detail about today.

The clearest and easiest short this morning in months. 10 pts ++ on the ER without even breathing.

So much for standing aside.

I agree. easy short early, and easy rally later. Smooth down, smooth up.

Its ludicrous to predict market action a day ahead of time. Shit can hit the fan at any minute, or a market can die at any time.

For options expiration today just love how intc closed right on 25, msft 29.99 and the qqqq at 50

Yep, I'd be inclined to fade any "pop" out of the box Monday morning.
