Do you want to hear something histerical about real estate.

Quote from $preader:

Always amusing to see someone indulge in a touch of schadenfreude.

The thing is it's usually the deadbeats that do so,the ones that couldn't afford anything on the way up and now to compensate for being such a dismal failure in their own pathetic existence are ecstatic that they couldn't afford anything and act in a self-congratulatory manner at other's expense.

HAHA...this thread is hilarious..
To be honest, I've got schadenfraude...but only for people I hate...not for my friends..

You're missing the point. He could be in a neighborhood that is appreciating no matter what the "stats" for greater Wilmington say. Or he could be in one that is delcining more than the stats indicate. All of these quotes you hear about values are based on very large samples. It's like saying I have one foot in boilng water, and one in freezing water, so on average, it feels just fine.

or he could be right in the way of an expanding highway....:D

What's with all these so called, "ET Sponsors," just embarrassing themselves lately?

For being such a failure I have no debt. I have over 250k in cash on me. I didn't buy a stupid house because I knew what was going around me.

I didn't give into the lavish lifestyle that these other people felt the need to give in to.

What a shame,as much as you'd LOVE that to be true, you are predictably wrong...............again.

$250K is probably a lot where you come from, the sad truth is that you should divide that by 10 to get closer to what you've actually got - good luck house-hunting with that budget.

No wonder you're so desperate for the housing market to collapse.
