hmmm guantonmo bay? The us claims everybody there is guilty of crimes. But why did they release hundreads of prisoners. all of whom were never charged. and the US admits, that alot were accidentally rounded up by accident. What do you call arresting, torturing innocent people? Alot are guilty, but the release of hundreads of detainees, and press release from the us government that saids these guys did nothing wrong. Its a concentration camp.

Alot of republicans want to admend the 14th admendment. which was specifically put there to protect freed slaves. They want to remove that so children's of illegals arent given automatic citizenship.

And if you dont see the downhill slide back into segragation and old southern routes your crazy. Admending the 14th admendment was the platform for KKK and now for the republican party.

ZZZzzz what do you call arresting people, torturing them, and all without charge. And sent to a camp. A concentration camp. President bush released hundreads of prisoners who were held for years, that werent charged. and he admits were arrested accidentally. It was like oops. sorry for the 3 years of beatings and torture.

Um, Mahram, you might want to check your stats to see how many registered Republicans support the "religious right". They are far in the minority. The prez candidates have to pander to them because they vote as a block, and have mega funds. Conventional wisdom says you can't get nominated in the Republican primaries if you don't at least pretend to support the religious views. Case in point: McCain. He has made obvious concessions to the religious right from his views in the past, simply because he wants to get nominated. You think he all of a sudden had a vision and believes the religious drivel?

I actually believe we would have a Democrat in office now if that party would nominate a credible candidate. They seem determined to nominate the worst possible the last two elections.
 
America is far more likely to disintegrate along racial lines than 'red-blue' lines. Just give it another fifty years of mass immigration.
 
If you are looking for civil war, ya might want to look at China. 800 million really pissed off peasants. More than a thousand protests per MONTH! The wealth disparity is getting really bad.
 
How about a Democrat President (the left's very lionized Roosevelt) who imprisons AMERICAN'S because they were of Japanese descent? Only an IDIOT would compare Gitmo to the internment of Japanese-AMERICANS.
