I think the reality is that would require endless intervention. To make the effort to be so heavy-handed would be a nuisance, and would further repress the anal expulsive tendencies of many here.

It was obvious by his comments to my posts that he had no interest in their content showing patterned behavior by market participants but he was just resorting to being a clown. If being called a dumbshit causes him to slink away from discussing with you guys, then he's got bigger problems than just hurt feelings.

In any case, anyone who relates coin flipping to trading doesn't know heads from tails in this game.

Well, literally it did.
As someone who's come from the NYC bonehead prop trading environment, I'm used to the pigeons and don't mind it at all. But that's the world we're in; not the same for those who approach trading from the opposite direction. Can't change ET

Maestro was obviously using coin flips as an analogy to explain his point, not literally confusing coin flips with people.

In this thread I have seen him expend considerably effort to politely and thoughtfully try to convey his point of view, and it was making for an interesting and enjoyable thread.

I guess, knowing ET, Maestro should have been prepared for an occasional outbreak of thoughtlessness to intrude, but it is still a shame when it happens.

The maestro brought out the coin after I was responsive to his demand and gave him Monday's pattern as well as the rest of today's.

Calling him a dumbshit at that point in our exchange was appropriate and not much of an insult in my opinion. It's not like I said his wife is ugly.

Maybe I'm wrong and ET is now the place where ladies gather to drink tea and talk theory while being oh so polite. Regardless, I'm too used to speaking my mind to care.
