I have been a novice trader for many years. A friend and I were talking about the days where the Dow would move 40 points and we would consider that a good day.
Today, I would go crazy if the dow had little movement, lets be real for me, if the dow doesn't move more than triple digits, I find it to be boring. lol
And then the days where you could put a monkey infront of a computer and make money. lol.
